Gaudy Night
Gaudy Night has Lord Peter playing a minor role, and Harriet Vane as the main character. A little bit slow in the beginning, but the action picks up farther into the book. This mystery novel is unique in the fact that there is no murder, but rather crimes like vandalism, slander, and assault. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.
